Extra Curricular ACTIVITIEs

At Crownfield Infant and Nursery school we aim to give our children as many enrichment opportunities as possible, as we view these opportunities a part of a child’s entire planned learning experience.  We plan for a wide range of activities that allow all our children to demonstrate their talents and ‘shine’.

Every teacher runs a club at some point over the course of the year.  Clubs run by our staff are provided free of charge.

Clubs run by outside providers are subsidised by the school but paid for by parents.

Our coaches are fully qualified; DBS checked, hold a first-aid certificate and have attended a child protection course.

To sign up we will kindly ask you to pay in full the cost of all the sessions through your Squid account. Our goal is to ensure that every child has the chance to attend a club of their choice and therefore places are allocated on this basis.  The office keep a register of attendance throughout the year.   We will contact you to let you know whether a place is available for your child via Class Dojo.  If you are not successful this time, the class may run again at a later date.

Spring Term 1             Football, Basketball, Cooking, Choir, Ballet, Karate    and Street Dance

Spring Term 2             Y1 and Y2 Football, Basketball, Cooking, Choir, Ballet, Lego, Karate and Street Dance

Summer Term 1          Football, Cricket, Cooking, Choir, Ballet, Street Dance Karate and Choir

Additional Teacher clubs will be added to this calendar of events as this is decided throughout the year.
